AIA Austin is seeking (1) licensed and qualified Architect in the Austin area to provide design services for their new home at 9th & Lavaca. Respondent firms must be AIA members and registered in the state of Texas, and project teams must include at least (1) licensed architect. 2026 AIA Austin and Design Austin board members and their firms are excluded from applying. The Project Team must all be part of the same firm.

Questions regarding this RFQ were collected through Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 5 p.m. Responses to these questions were distributed an addendum on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, which is included in the the RFQ link above.

AIA Austin 2026 Design Excellence Conference August 27-28 at the Commons Conference Center, JJ Pickle Research Campus of UT Austin
Two full days of educational sessions, keynotes, and the Design Expo. This year the BEC Symposium will be featured as a building science track on Friday! 3+ hours of On-Demand Courses accessible online during the conference through the end of the year. The AIA Austin Design Excellence Conference delivers dynamic content through renowned keynote speakers, inspiring breakout sessions, and local project tours, all focused on sustainability, resiliency, and inclusive design through the lens of AIA's Framework for Design Excellence.

- We strongly encourage you to include other professionals to broaden the impact and efficacy of architecture.
